Homage to Meringue

This is my humble tribute to meringue and to my grandmother Adelina, who was the best baker I ever knew. Meringue was the star of her most beautiful pastry creations. Its beautiful, pearly texture and endless possibilities of use make it worthy of an important place in the kitchen and in my heart.
I chose to dedicate myself to food photography because its textures and colors transport me to another world. Convinced that food enters first through the eyes and then through the other senses, I decided to give free rein to a love that comes from deep inside me.Ingredients or very basic preparations seem to me to be the most inspiring elements. Butter, bread, cream, meringue, eggs, among others. That's where most of my inspirations come from.
This time I have decided to pay tribute to my beloved meringue. When it is well made, it has a texture like no other in the world. Very versatile, it can be used for multiple preparations.
And playing with how classic its use is, David came to mind and I immediately imagined his meringue hair and that was the trigger image for this series.
